SND 36th print awards

Yesterday the Society for News Design (SND) announces on his site the full list of winners of the 36th edition in print categories. The visual team of GN Medios gets 10 awards of excellence, 5 of these for the department of information graphics. Some of these works includes: the World Cup Brazil 2014 coverage, Special posters as the collection of the Human Body  and the Batman 75th anniversary.

The 2015 soccer market transfers in Costa Rica

A new version of the 2014 data visualization market transfers in Costa Rica. This time I have the collaboration of  Pablo Robles, a an emerging visualizer with a great future in the analysis of data using the graphical way. We tried to improve the visualizations and give new tools to explore the data. Some of this improvements it’s the initial graphic and the mobile version in attempt to simplify the understanding:


Una nueva versión del especial de visualización del mercado de primera división de fútbol de Costa Rica. En esta ocasión he contado con el apoyo de Pablo Robles, un visualizador emergente con un gran futuro en el análisis de datos desde la vía gráfica. Hemos tratado de mejorar las visualizaciones y agregar nuevas herramientas para la exploración de los datos. Algunas de esas mejoras se pueden ver en la visualización inicial y su versión para móviles:

Party ended on a stretcher

When december comes, the party time began in Costa Rica. The Red Cross attended 458 emergencies in the past popular festivities. Of these, 215 were in the arena fights. Other 229 at the fairgrounds and 14 in the mechanical rides at the fair. My support to this coverage was the data visualization at the bottom page. Here´s the link http://bit.ly/13YLsr7

Left, analysis of overtime at the World Cup; accumulates until the first round as the time required for almost three additional games.
